Cups Are Overflowing, Fresh Eggs
Good morning, it’s Amy here today. Not a ton of farm related updates this week. But our cups are overflowing during this season of Thanksgiving. We’ve had family visiting here. And we made a trip to Knoxville to visit family there. We’ve eaten way too much good food with another family dinner to look forward to this evening.
Cows are still grazing in the fields. Pigs have access to the barn area where they can stay undercover lying on hay bedding or romp around outside and forage.
We have plenty of eggs, so if you’re looking for local eggs we’ve got you covered. Most of our eggs are unwashed, which means we collected them clean from the nesting boxes and put them in cartons. Unwashed eggs can sit out at room temperature for 2-3 weeks. Or you can put them in the fridge and they will last for several months. So, feel free to stock up at the monthly deliveries and never run out of eggs.
We will NOT be at the farmers market this week. Taking time with family instead. You can pre-order anytime for next week or any of the December deliveries.
This is one of my favorite songs, and I’ve been singing it on repeat this week. I hope we all take time this weekend to reflect on all that we are thankful for. I know some of you are struggling right now and going through very difficult times of sickness or grief. But, I pray we are able to see Jesus in all the big and small ways around us each day.
When I look around and see
The good things He does for me
I know I’m unworthy of them all
And His blessings He freely gives
I owe my life to Him
I’ve got so much to thank Him for
Chorus
We’ll I’ve got so much to thank Him for
So much to praise Him for
You see, He has been so good to me
When I think of what He’s done
And where He’s brought me from
I’ve got so much to thank Him for
Verse 2
And sometimes while on this way
I kneel and I stop and say
Lord, thank You for all You’ve done for me
And one day I’ll reach Heaven’s shore
Oh please let me kneel once more
I’ve got so much to thank You for…
