What does it mean to join The Herd? 

Joining The Herd means investing in and owning part of a carefully managed herd of animals. Your monthly payments contribute to the feed, care, and management of the animals, and in return, you receive a monthly share of meat from the herd.

  • Monthly deliveries: Abingdon, Marion, Chilhowie, Bristol, Kingsport, Baileyton (outside Greeneville), Knoxville.

  • Quarterly deliveries: Farmville, Roanoke, Charlotte NC, Myrtle Beach SC (3 months' worth of meat per quarter).

  • Add on pasture-raised chicken share. You will get 1 whole chicken (averaging 4.7 lbs) every month.

  • For you chicken lovers, we’ve added a chicken parts share.

    A chicken part share is basically 12 chickens spread out over 12 months.

    What you’ll get:

    12 packs of 2 boneless skinless breasts
    4 packs of 6 tenders
    6 packs of 4 drumsticks
    6 packs of 4 thighs
    4 packs of 6 whole wings
    4 quarts of chicken bone broth

    For example, one month you’ll receive : 1 pack of 2 breasts, 1 pack of 4 drumsticks, and 1 pack of 6 tenders.
