We usually post pictures of happy kids and the beauties of life on the farm. This isn’t one of those. But it is a very real picture of life on the farm.

This picture is over a year old. I’ve had a hard time putting words to it. You might wonder why anyone would even want to put words to it. I’ve wondered that myself.

“The old has gone. The new is here!”

Human beings, compared to other living things, have the unique ability to remember and learn from the past.

Time tells all. We can see how our decisions and the decisions of others have impacted where we are today. For better or worse.

A year of sickness.

Like many families, our family has struggled with sickness.

No sickness is pleasant at the time, yet we are thankful for the sickness in our family. It has given us a greater appreciation for health.
